A new home for Queen Petra and her family. It's an Early Civilization castle for your royal sim, inspired by real Ancient Greek castles.
This lot is largely inspired by the Mycenaean Palace of Nestor, described in Homer's Odyssey, the ruins of which can still be visited outside Pylos, Greece. Petra's Palace is not a historically accurate representation, but has elements that will be recognizable to history buffs.
However, some parts are obviously not historically correct, like when I've used glass roofs a couple of places on the top floor instead of keeping it open (as it was in reality). This because of the in-game lighting and for practical reasons.
Even though this is a very large house, it's fully playable, but I must issue a little warning: this is a huge lot with many details, a lot of cc, debug and moo placements. If your hardware is on the lower end, you probably shouldn't have this lot in your game, at least not as a furnished lot. That said, it works fine in my game, and I haven't experienced any lags or other problems with it.
I hope you will find a place for it in your historical save and enjoy playing in a royal palace of ancient times.

As always, you don't need the packs to download, but you must be prepared to do some editing if you don't have them, because of missing items. The most important packs for this lot are: For Rent, Horse Ranch, High School Years, Jungle Adventure and Courtyard Oasis.
As mentioned above Queen Petra's Palace has a lot of cc. Some have not even been published before, and needs a little explanation:
- 💝 With kind permission from Philo, I've mirrored two swatches in Minos Deco Stickers and added them as new swatches. Please download the set from Philo (at the moment hosted on TSR), then replace the Stickers package with THIS ONE.
- 💝 My friend Mrs. Racooney made a wonderful mural inspired by my story characters. It's was actually published a short time ago, but I think it deserves a special mention anyway. You can see it in the main throne room: Temple Dancers Mural check it out! (You will also need Martine's mesh for it to work)
- 💝A fellow historical creator, now retired, Gloomytrait once shared with me some colorized statues of TheJim07's Hebe and Minerva. I think they are beautiful, and much to good not to be shared, so I asked TheJim007 for his permission, which he kindly gave. (They will need the original statues/mesh to work.)
- 💝I did a quick recolor for another project of the ArcaneIllusions Alchemy Lab manuscript v03 by Severinka, to make it more Early Civ looking (the devil is in the details...). Not all cc used is included in the download, due to creator's TOU. A PDF with details and links for all CC is included. The included cc works in my game at the time of upload. In general there is an additional risk when downloading and installing folders from others, so you might want to download from the creator directly to be on the safe side and to be sure to have the latest, updated version. This is up to you.
