Hurra! Hurra! Hurra! Let's celebrate the Norwegian Constitution day! If not in RL, let's do it in the sims!
The Norwegian constituion was signed 17th of May in 1814, and is celebrated with children's parade, festivity and fun. The traditional uplifting speech is important, as is games and fun for the kids, either at the school or in the community park.
In Fjordsund they needed a park and a school, and we are happy that it was ready in time for the celebrations! The park is of course open all year, and in the middle of the park you will find the old schoolhouse. The purpose is education, but it is also a lovely place to take shelter during those terrible heat waves or snowstorms. Nevertheless, most sims, young and old, want to enjoy themselves outside. There is something for everyone here! And of course, on the Constitution day, this is where your sims will listen to speeches, have picnics and celebrate.
Note that the ice cream booth is on 'dugnad' (voluntary work - basically you have to make the ice creams yourself), and the other two booths don't have automated employees (unless you use a mod).
