At Barter Point your sims can barter, and then have fun. Or they can have fun bartering.
It's placed conveniently close to the Creek in Willow Creek. Sims from far and near visit this protected spot to barter goods or, if they have valuable stones, even make trades. Some sims come just to have fun of course, and if they live nearby, they bring their kids and the whole family to enjoy a relaxing day in beautiful surroundings. This is also a good place for those who wants to find a partner, Lada, the goddess of fertility is monitoring it all!
I've made this lot a park, but if you want to make it a functional retail lot, it's quite easy: just add a register desk and a cash register. Unfortunately there is no fitting CC with the Stone Age theme, but you can use this bag of money from ATS as a cash register.
I've used some CC items that needs a certain pack. They are not always necessary for gameplay, so you could just drop them if you don't have the pack. For some reason the ATS Monkey trees are not recognized by the game to be play equipment, so that's why there is a BG one in an unaccessable room in the basement.
As for historical accuracy, please disregard it. In the New Stone Age/Neolithic period humans started with trading/bartering, but I don't believe they had assigned places for it like this one.
