The Nypan Family

Magic. Is it a blessing or a curse? Both, of course! So can family be.


This family is deeply connected to each other with a magic bond called love. Sometimes they get angry, tired or upset with each other, but always make sure to kiss and make up before the sun sets. And after a few hours of sleep, the sun magically rises to a fresh, new day filled of fun and forgiveness.

This family is inspired by and made in honor of real persons, but anything but the names are in fact fictitious. The mum is based on the tragic case of Lisbet Pedersdatter Nypan, who had special gifts and knowledge, and was cruelly executed in 1670 on the grounds of witchcraft. I give all my love and respect for her, her family and all the women in history who paid a costly price for using their magical talents.
