Manthos Palace

It's a manifestation of power and greatness. Not always comfortable, but incontrovertibly impressive!

Edit 22 June 2023: I've done a little clean up of this lot and removed some items that were redundant or even causing footprint errors since I placed them with MOO. These are the major changes:

• Removed all shrunken bookshelves. Some replaced with my Pseftiá Papyrus Scrolls
• Removed shrunken stereo and Invisible Dance floor (Bakie) in the large banquet hall. Replaced with Wall Lute Music Maker by Simverses  
• Removed decor rat (Mammut) in the kitchen. (Who wants rats in the kitchen anyway?)
• Added Pseftiá TV1 in the Queen's banquet hall.
• My Pseira well is replaced with the updated version 
• Some tweaking of objects to make the lot more functional
  

Edit 1 October 2022: I've replaced the Snowtato Clay Grill with the new version (file name should be "SnowtatoClayGrillFixed.package".) I've also added/replaced some of the Parmenidh scrolls (decor) with the functional Pseftiá Papyrus Scrolls (bookshelf). They look the same and uses the same mesh, but the latter works as a real bookshelf. Hopefully this also solves the tidy up problem described below. 😊

 
In Minoan times there were many palaces, Knossos on Crete may be the most famous, but Manthos in Willow Creek also has it's beauty! I think your royal family will love it!

BTW: 

• The sims don't want to tidy up the books in the library. Maybe they think they are too royal for that kind of work? 😄 Well actually it's probably because I've used the MOO cheat when placing the bookshelves. You can still drag and drop the books to the open bookcase, so I left it as is. If you don't want to do that, You can rearrange the bookshelves/bookcase without MOO. Edit 22/6-23: should be okay now!
  
• There are many things that are not historically accurate here, so please don't confuse this build, made for sims, with the real thing. Some parts of the murals and stickers are authentic, and I've tried to stay true to the feeling of Early Civilization in general. However, some stuff is ahead of time (statues), is partly wrong (shape of columns) or totally wrong (i don't even want to start on that list). The most important for me was to make the lot playable and as close as possible to my "vision". I hope you'll have fun with it!

I've also used a Ceiling replacer by Lunanelfeah. If you don't have the mod installed the ceilings will by white.
