Akrotíri House

A carpenter can be very prosperous and the owner of this house certainly is. The house is solid and easy to defend, and yet comfortable to live in. 

Edit 30.08.23: I've uploaded this house at CurseForge, and in the preparation for that I added (basegame) wooden ceilings. No other changes was made, but the Hymenaios (Ymhn) Urn that was listed in the PDF for CC is now released. I did consider adding stuff from the Horse Ranch pack, but not everybody have that pack, so I left the animals decor only as it was originally.

In this house your sim could successfully develop the handicraft skill, and still live a comfortable life with a large family.

The inspiration of this build came from frescoes and other images from the Akrotíri settlement in Santorini, Greece. I claim no historical accuracy!

Tip 1: When in play mode click on the door upstairs and choose it as your entrance door. Otherwise your guests will arrive at the workshop door on the ground floor.

Tip 2: If you have the "Don’t wash dishes WHERE YOU ANGRY POOP" mod by Scumbumbo, make sure you disconnect the two barrels on the third floor and any of the other sinks you don't want your sims to wash dishes in (and spend time walking back and forth to).

I've also used a ceiling override (#15) by Lunanelfeah (retired). If you don't have the mod installed, the ceilings will by white. A preview of the mod can be found here and direct download here. You can only have one file in your game at the time.
