Astánna Temple

Life is no joke, but it is important to have fun. Whether your sim is getting married or someone has passed, there is always a reason to celebrate them.

This is a place your sim will visit in the big moments in her life. Especially on their wedding day, but there may be other days in a sims life that are even more important. In a concluding manner, you might say.

I was inspired by The snake goddess when I built this temple, but her name was not Astánna, no one know her actual name. Astánna is simply the joining of the names of two important female goddesses from nearby cultures (Astarte and Inanna), that at this time might have influenced the Minoans. Another inspiration was this floor plan of a Minoan temple at Knossos.

 I've made this as a Wedding Venue, for your sims to have a perfect wedding. In my experience the wedding will not be perfect, it seems this part of gameplay is not functioning to it's best potential. If you want to skip the idea of a perfect wedding, you can change the lot to a bar, it contains all necessary items for that.

If you have Seasons, please note that the lute (stereo) will break in rainy weather, unless you have the Rainproof Electronics mod (recommended).

A PDF with details and links for all CC is included in the download. According with the TOU of the creator you will have to download some items separately.

I've also used a ceiling override (#15) by Lunanelfeah (retired). If you don't have the mod installed, the ceilings will by white. A preview of the mod can be found here and direct download here. You can only have one file in your game at the time.
