If an event is not discussed at The Blue Boar Pub, then it is very likely that it has not actually happened.
The Pub is the center in many British villages, and The Blue Boar Pub in St. Mary Mead is no exception. It has a spacious bar area for drinks or a simple meal, occationally there are also concerts here, which attracts quite a few people. On the quieter first floor you might want to enjoy a card game or hit bullseye on the dartboard. Here you will also find the premises of the local rugby club, but you need to be a member to get in. Next door is Mrs Spenlow's flower shop, but to be honest, it's a mystery to us how Mrs Spenlow can make a living of it, all the time she lets everybody learn flower decorating, practically for free. She must really love flowers.
