Beskows Block

Swedish small towns can be very cosy, outside and inside. It's almost like it's not for real...




As a child I loved the books about the three ants (Aunt Green, Aunt Brown and Aunt Lavender) with the wonderful illustrations of the author Elsa Beskow. Her drawings are so inspirational, and I wanted to recreate the feeling in sims. I don't know if I succeeded, but I enjoyed trying!

The main house is the yellow one, and it belongs to the three aunts and their two foster children. It is cosy and warm, with a large kitchen and a lovely garden. The aunts elder brother (Uncle Blue) lives in one of the neighbouring houses, and you can also find a bakery, a laundry, and a greenhouse in the same block.
