Chicken-Lovisa is a literary figure from Oskar Braaten's play "The child", about a woman who wholeheartedly helped single mothers to take care of their children, so they could continue as factory workers and provide for themselves and their children. This was quite controversial at the time, and it took a lot of courage to stand by the young women, who were met with condemnation from the community. Thank God for tough, kind hearted women like Chicken-Lovisa.
